Product Description

Permabond UV683 is a colorless UV-curable acrylate coating and doming compound for smart-card microchips and electronic-component encapsulation. Its 1,000 to 1,600 mPa s viscosity at 25 deg C supports doming application, while cure across 320 to 420 nm produces a tack-free surface. Typical tack-free time ranges from 1 to 15 seconds under the listed lamp conditions. The cured coating provides more than 98% light transmittance, 12 to 14 N/mm^2 tensile strength, more than 50% elongation, and 50 to 65 Shore D hardness for optically clear protective applications.
