PERMABOND UV645
Harmonization Code : 3907.30.00.40 | Epoxy Mold Compounds containing by weight more than 70 % silicon dioxide

Main features
- High-Viscosity Controlled Application
- Fast 2 to 10 Second Fixture
- Flexible Plastic-Bonding Cure
Product Description
Permabond UV645 is a single-part, high-viscosity methacrylate adhesive for fast UV bonding of plastics, including acrylic and polycarbonate, with additional use on glass and metals. The clear formulation cures across 365 to 420 nm and provides typical fixture times from 2 to 10 seconds under the listed lamp conditions. At 25 deg C, viscosity is 8,000 to 10,000 mPa s at 20 rpm. The cured adhesive combines more than 70% elongation with 50 to 65 Shore D hardness and measured shear strength on polycarbonate, PVC, PC/ABS, and acrylic.
Key features
- High-Viscosity Application Control: Viscosity is 8,000 to 10,000 mPa s at 25 deg C and 20 rpm.
- Fast UV Fixture: Typical fixture time is 2 to 10 seconds under the listed lamp conditions.
- Flexible Cured Bond: The cured adhesive provides more than 70% elongation with 50 to 65 Shore D hardness.
Applications
Applications include bonding acrylic, polycarbonate, PVC, PC/ABS, glass, and metal, plus supported UV-curable sealing applications.
