PERMABOND UV6260
Harmonization Code : 3907.30.00.40 | Epoxy Mold Compounds containing by weight more than 70 % silicon dioxide

Main features
- Filtered-Light UV Curing
- Tack-Free Surface Cure
- High-Elongation Plastic Bonding
Product Description
Permabond UV6260 is a thixotropic, extremely fast UV-curable urethane acrylate adhesive for metals, glass, and rigid plastics when the substrate filters the curing light. The pale-yellow liquid cures colorless and tack-free across 365 to 420 nm. On glass, typical fixture time is below 1 second with a 395 nm, 150 mW/cm^2 LED and 6 seconds at 0.1 mW/cm^2, subject to lamp and substrate conditions. Cured data include overlap shear above 11 N/mm^2 on polycarbonate with substrate failure, 205% elongation, and 60 Shore D hardness.
Key features
- Filtered-Light UV Cure: Cures across 365 to 420 nm for substrates that filter the curing light.
- Tack-Free Surface Cure: Produces a tack-free surface after adequate UV exposure.
- Rigid-Plastic Bond Strength: Provides substrate-failure shear results on polycarbonate, acrylic, PETG, and PVC-to-PC joints.
Applications
Applications include bonding colored glass, metals, polycarbonate, PMMA, PETG, PET, ABS, and rigid PVC where curing-light transmission is adequate.
