PERMABOND TA4592
Harmonization Code : 3907.30.00.40 | Epoxy Mold Compounds containing by weight more than 70 % silicon dioxide

Main features
- External-Mix Automated Dispensing
- Sub-30-Second Gel Time
- Motor Magnet and Ferrite Bonding
Product Description
Permabond TA4592 is a two-component, 1:1 external-mix structural acrylic adhesive for bonding magnets and ferrites in electric motors. Part A and Part B are dispensed separately and mixed as the beads fall onto the part, supporting high-speed automated assembly without a static mixer. The system fills gaps up to 1 mm, gels in less than 30 seconds, fixtures zinc in 10-30 seconds, and cures fully in 24 hours. Typical cured performance includes 20-25 N/mm2 shear strength on mild steel, 15-20 N/mm2 on zinc, and 10-20 kJ/m2 impact strength.
Key features
- External-Mix Automation: Two dispensed components mix in air without a static mixer.
- Sub-30-Second Gel: A 1 g plus 1 g mix gels in less than 30 seconds.
- Motor Magnet and Ferrite Bonding: Targets magnet and ferrite attachment in electric-motor assembly.
Applications
Applications include automated bonding of magnets and ferrites in electric motors and supported structural acrylic assemblies.
